Sport and Cultural Activities

Hushe Welfare and Development Organization is also paying much emphasis on the development of youth and making all possible effort to make them a respectable and valuable member of the society. Youths are the stone of the any society they can bring changes in society. They can also become agent of the change. In this connection along with the job oriented activities the NGO also organized sports competition and encourage or facilitate the youth to participate in regional or district level sports programme.

Local / Traditional folk Music and Dances;

Due to repeat changing in the society also affect the historical and classical music and dances of the region. Hushe valley was renowned for rich cultural heritage and folk historical dances. There were a system enact in valley that each tribe have different musical sign they have to dance on their own allotted music. But now it become near to extinct and the people related to this profession with out any facilitation /guidance from any segment of the society. So the NGO has decided to support these artist through sponsor their activities and enhance their capabilities. Regular events in this regard are being organizing by the groups of artists. That are sponsoring by the NGO. The following traditional music are being the symbol of Hushe;

• Chogho Brasul
• Ghushookh Pa
• Thayan Kar
• Skin’chun Balqham;

this is a messaging music/dance which are using to create awareness to protect the endangered species of wildlife specially the Ibex. It also disseminates the message to sustainable uses of natural resources. It tells how the hunters deteriorating our natural resources and it will not far away when we face the shortage of these natural resources.

It is dire need of the day to help local community in protecting the cultural and natural resources of these highly tourist attractive areas. So it make that more tourist will attract to enjoy from these cultural heritage. Government should also make their efforts to conserve the cultural heritage of these areas.

Football/ Valley Ball:

These are being an international game and also popular in these areas. To protect youth indulge in bed habits and provide them opportunity to become they strong the organization arrange these type of games and encourage them to be a member of team. Regularly festivals and tournament are organizing at valley and district level.
